I'd like to set up my homepage for this template with the following:

1. Top slider
2. A single K2 article
3 Sidebar on the right

(in other words turning off the mainbody modules)

Unfortunately it looks pretty poor with padding missing from #gkContentWrap.
Am I doing something wrong? (Sorry no URL yet.)

Thanks

You could easy fix padding with css.
Please share with us your site url, and I will be able to provide needed css corrections.

Thanks Cyberek. As I mentioned I don't have a URL yet. I think I could make the CSS fix but how do I limit the fix to the homepage only?

I thought this might allow me to target the CSS on the homepage but it deosn't seem to work when a K2 article is used on the homepage.

Try adding a suffix to article module, and then target element inside of it.

@Cyberek That worked perfectly - many thanks.

To anyone reading this thread I created a custom class in the menu manager for the homepage item.
This allowed me to target just this page with custom CSS.
