I have been trying to figure out why my og:image tag is not being recognised when Facebook scrapes the home page of my site. It appears that a second home/index page is being scraped instead of the correct one.

Correct Home page: http://www.thefourfifty.com

What the Facebook debugger sees: https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/og/echo?q=http%3A%2F%2Fthefourfifty.com%2F

As you can see it's total different source code. Not anything like my home page. It's accessing a Joomla article instead.

I have the Responsive layout turned OFF in the template settings, yet still the home page is being switched out.

Can you help?

Best,

John

Hi

Please check in menu manager what type is attached to home. If it's an article or feautured or anything with content than it may be the case. And module published in mainbody position may only mask it.

That was it. I didn't even think about the menu pointing to a joomla article. THANKS!
