Hello,

This is my second time installing this template. At first I couldn't get to the administrator or frontend but I reinstalled with a new database and am now able to get to the admin side but frontend is just blank. When changing error reporting to Development I see this:

Strict Standards: Declaration of JParameter::loadSetupFile() should be compatible with that of JRegistry::loadSetupFile() in /var/www/html/libraries/joomla/html/parameter.php on line 512

Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks

Please set error reporting back to default as that message is a notice and it is not an error.

Regarding frontpage, please one by one try to disable modules which is set to show on front page. Such as News Show Pro modules and see if that fixes your problem.

If it does please check module settings to make sure all required settings are correct, such as module data source categories or articles do exists in your setup.

Let us know how you get on, see you around...

We need to debug this to see what is causing the error.

- Usually when users use quickstart package they tend to delete all example categories or example articles which modules are set to show so causing database error. You need to edit module settings and make sure items that are selected in data source are valid and exists.

- Your module is configured to display thumbnails, there for needs to process images which your server might not be supporting. Check for GD Library in your php information page or disable any images in modules layout settings.

Let me know after you check above, if it still doesn't work please send me an admin access to my email normanuk[at]live.co.uk and I ll take a look.

Please include this topic link and this topic subject in your email so I know who is who ; )

See you around...
