After clicking on an item and adding to cart or clicking on an Item in the New GK5 module the sidebar module doesn't show up. How do I get the sidebar modules to appear on these pages. I have them selected to show up on all pages but the homepage.

You need to connect the products presented in NSP with some menu items, please also remember to set VM menu ItemID in News Show Pro settings.

You need to create menu items which are connected with categories/products from VirtueMart. Then if you look at VirtueMart tab in News Show Pro you can set itemID for VirtueMart menu.
