Virtuemart ask a question not working

I have virtuemart ask a question enabled however when i send a question it doesn't send to the email i have setup in configuration. However it says message successfully sent. Do i have to set something up within virtuemart for this? Thanks

Probably you have wrongly configured mail function. Your problem is not related with our template but Joomla! configuration but for sure please switch template to Beez and check this issue.

Can you tell me how I should configure mail function. I have done several joomla sites and this is the first time it didn't work. I have attached a screenshot of mail config. Thanks!

Hi! I have the same problem, the mail sending config is smtp method with SSL. Messages from standard contact form of joomla are sent perfectly, but virtuemart sending is not work correctly. Checked on ask question button.
