Welcome.
I have a problem with the Polish language on the website. When I change the content of the English language (the site - it works) is a component of the Polish VM stops working well at the back.
What could be the cause.
Thank you for your reply.
My site is http://smakpremium.pl/
Now is pl-PL no configuration changes (only change language)

Hi

Please do not publish access here. It's a private forum.

If it's connected to VM than I believe You are lacking of database tables for Polish language. Please recreate table in VM tools or install VM one more time.

I installed, I updated - the first time I have a problem with templates gavick after a clean install. The problem still remains the same. The only change we introduce the box template, change the language (Kickstart Unpack files). What else could be the problem?

Admin VM error
Code: Select all
vmError: exeSortSearchListQuery Table 'sowus35_smak.wh0cd_virtuemart_products_pl_pl' doesn't exist SQL=SELECT SQL_CALC_FOUND_ROWS l.`virtuemart_product_id` FROM `wh0cd_virtuemart_products_pl_pl` as l JOIN `wh0cd_virtuemart_products` AS p using (`virtuemart_product_id`) group by p.`virtuemart_product_id` ORDER BY product_name DESC LIMIT 0, 20

Hi

The error You have pasted clearly states that tables for polish language are missing. This is normal, because VM only creates tables for language installed. Which means that if VM is being installed before language than there will not be this tables than. Normally reinstaling VM is picking up new languages and tables are being created than. I'm not a VM expert, but I think I've also seen a tool "Rebuild tables" which should add them as well.

Hello,

I had this issue with spanish language and solved easy.

Export with phpMyAdmin this tables of your db:

virtuemart_categories_en_gb
virtuemart_manufacturercategories_en_gb
virtuemart_manufacturers_en_gb
virtuemart_paymentmethods_en_gb
virtuemart_products_en_gb
virtuemart_shipmentmethods_en_gb
virtuemart_vendors_en_gb

open the exported file with notepad and replace all:

_en_gb

by

es_es

in my case (spanish lang), save the file and import this to your db.

This will add tables with your lang sufix and may work fine.

Thanks.
Regards.

Hi

Yes that's what needs to be done, but VM should make it itself during installation, so reinstalling should add them as well.
