Hi, I was wondering if someone could please help me. I have just installed the quick start Storebox template.
The installation all seemed to go correctly. The only issue I have is that I can still see the GK Demo across some of the images on the front page, and there are no prices on the items etc. There is no 'shop' menu item either.

Any ideas appreciated.

Thanks and regards

Did you make any modifications or you just don't have shop menu and prices since quickstart installation?

Thanks for the quick reply. I completed the latest quickstart installation on 2 different systems. One was a MAMP installation and the other on a domain and both look the same. I have not made any changes, so to answer your question, I have made no modifications to either and I don't have the shop menu or prices etc.
The reason I'd like the cart as on the demo is to assist me in setting up the cart and getting my head around shop products etc.
I have not installed Virtuemart either. Straight quick start installation.
You can take a look at what I'm seeing at www.skandals.com.au

thanks again for your help

Ok but maybe you've installed version for J!3.x ? Because there you will not find VirtueMart because this extension is not available for Joomla! 3.x

yes you are correct. I installed J3.x
So you are saying to get the look of the demo that I should install 2.6. I thought I might have to install J3.x to get the cross platform look i.e. on iPhone etc.

thanks again for your help

Guys we are unable to provide extension which not exist for Joomla! 3.x in our products. If you want to use VirtueMart the only way is to install Joomla! 2.5 version. We all waiting for VM compatible with J!3.x

ok again thanks to responses re this thread.
Just to finish off, could I please confirm one thing prior to going down the build process.
If we go with the J2.5 version of Storebox, will we still have the nice look and feel when the site is viewed from iPhone or iPad. I was under the impression that J3.2 was the platform that gave you the platform aware capability, thus when viewing a site form iPhone it appears nice a clean and easy to navigate. Do we lose this with the J2.5 implementation?

thanks again

No, every single view in Joomla! 3.2 and 2.5 is the same because we don't use bootstrap and provide own media queries (special stylesfor smaller screens). There is no advantage of using J! 3.3 except nicer administrator panel but then there is no option to use VirtueMart because this component is still no J!3 compatible.
