Unable to update/publish posts

Hello. I installed the quick set-up and everything looks fine, but I am unable to see newly published or see chages to updated posts on the front page. Help please.

Hello,

By default on the homepage widgets are displayed instead of posts. If you want to change it, please disable "Widgets Display on Homepage" option from Template Options -> Frontpage tab.

Thank you Peter. I tried that but unfortunately the widgets still appear on the front page instead of posts.
