Add backgrounds on per page basis

is there anyway to add a background image, full screen to an individual page or a plugin that will work well with the theme?, I've tried a few without success.

You can do it using only CSS, but I just have tested Background Per Page plugin and it's working fine. What exactly dosen't work with your plugins?
