Can't Get Set Up

I am a very very experienced wordpress user, and i can't figure out for the life of me how to set up these sites. You can view my portfolio at fishhousecreative.com

I have tried uploading the json file on the theme import/export but doesn't seem to work. Is the idea that it should make the site look exactly like the demo site?

On the current site i have copied the header text and am not even getting the right font size on parts of it, no image, etc.

Please help... i do not want to do this but if i am not missing something i will need to ask for my money back as its way more complicated than any other theme i've used.
