simplicity main page

Hi,

I have installed the quick start package on my server and I'm trying to create the same main page as the demo

Demo: http://demo.gavick.com/wordpress/simplicity/

I have two questions regarding the main page header

1. I set featured image, but the image appears before the text and not as a big background as the demo.
2. In the demo the menu appears as part as the page and then change with scroll down.

I'm new with WP, appreciate your help

Hi,

Just to let you know, the big image in demo site is a background image which is defined in template.css (line 525).
