How to Change Favicon

I have tried to change the favicon but I'm not able to do it... I tried to search for the favicon file but because of having child theme I'm a bit confused...

Yes I did with with the favicon format but just I used the normal image it's working...

I wanted to link the section get started today in header form with my signup page... I tried to search for the button code in documentation but I'm unable to find it...
