@Dziudek,

I will call widgets and modules, modules for here on.

Can you confirm that:

The Joomla version of Simplicity placing multiple modules in a module position, the modules align horizontally.

With the Wordpress version of Simplicity placing multiple modules in a module position the modules align vertically.

If this is true for me this is not good it makes things more complicated or am missing something.

Could you let me know how I can get the Wordpress version to align horizontally

Hi,

Please remember that the modules alignment depends from the widget area/module position. Some positions/areas offers horizontal alignment (like top1/top2/bottom1-6), other offers only the vertical alignment (like mainbody_top, mainbody_bottom, sidebar etc.).

If you have other results then please write which widget area cause the problem - then I'll analyze it.

@dziudek

I double checked and Wordpress widget positions top1/top2/bottom1-6 all align vertically when multiple widgets place in those positions.

This was the resaon for my other post regarding Tabs away to get around the alignment problem.

Are you using some widget styles on these widget areas? Because when you're using the "None" style then the widgets should align horizontally as here: http://demo.gavick.com/wordpress/simpli ... age_id=506

BTW do you know what caused the problem? (I mean in the widget CSS). There is a way to prevent the theme from using wrong width?

@dziudek

Has you mentioned it was the widget css structure.

I have sorted it out now, however if you have any alternative methods to prevent this from happening I would be grateful.

But it was some characteristic CSS code fragment? Because without knowing it I cannot find any solution :)
