Hi

I have installed quickstart package as you have described in docs and I can log into admin area but site is showing blank page. "Show source" is just:

Code: Select all
<div class="gkNspPM gkNspPM-NewsGallery gkArrows" data-cols="3" data-autoanim-time="5000"><div class="gkImagesWrapper gkImagesCols3">

When I change do default template it works ok. When I switch back to simplicity again blank page.

Any help would be appreciated

I have just downloaded the quickstart package and it works completely fine. Are you sure all Joomla requirements (3rd step of installation process) was met?

I have reinstalled simplicity quickstart and all requirements are green (system Opensuse 13.1, apache 2.4.6, php 5.4.20, mariadb). I tried to open some other page using default joomla template and then switched back to simplicty template and this page diplays ok (and all others except front page). So problem is just front page.

It seems that following code creates problem:
Code: Select all
{loadposition news_gallery}

because whan I remove it page displays ok but offcourse without removed part. Maybe I am missing some php module which is required for this to function?

I bet the issue is with php settings compatibility. Please create a screen showing all requirements from 3rd step of the installation and post it here.

Also display errors should be set to off. It might cause some problems.

I have double checked that before. display errors is set to off but joomla installer for some reason thinks it is on.
