Frontpage image show from creativity in simplicity?

i want to put the image show from creativity in the template simplicity. is it possible?
To combine generally effects between the different templates?

So I was able to find a great extension for this purpose. http://www.nextendweb.com/smart-slider/

The only issue is that I can not find a way for the slideshow to span the entire with of the screen. It seems as though the GK header position is limited to the width defined in the template settings. I would like the slideshow to span 100% of the screen. I don't know how to accomplish this.
