not updating joomla 3.0

Installed start up kit which had joomla 3.03 - the joomla update manager indicates 'You already have the latest Joomla! version, 3.0.3.' when the latest version is Joomla 3.1 Beta.

Does joomla 3 not have auto update for joomla ?

Should I update manually and will the template work with 3.1 beta ?

Hi, Joomla 3.1 beta - is still beta(!), why are you so impatient ?
Please wait few days for stable edition of 3.1 than search info on joomla.org project page. :ugeek:

Who knows, but with stable edition they should.
