I installed two additional languages. I followed the tutorial: https://www.gavick.com/forums/simplicit ... 27556.html

But when I click on the flag to change the language, the menu does not change, it is always the same.

The background image of the module "header" does not appear.

I've been a long time trying to solve the problem, I created other websites with joomla multilanguage! 2.5, but with simplicity can not. Where am I going wrong?.

thanks

Did you add content languages after installing new ones ? Did you create menu items assigned to particular languages ?

Yes, I created content and menus assigned to each language. The content appears fine, but the menu does not change, and the background image is gone. Also, the effect of the menu when you scroll down.

thanks

The menu items are set also to one of the language, could you attach a screenshot with your menu configuration ?

Hi bkrztuk,
I've got the same problem with menus in multilingual site, and I've already reported them to Cyberek, but I've not received any answer yet. Maybe if you helped antilis you can help me too.
To solve some issues with multilingual version I had to disable URL SEF. Can you tell me why and what's wrong?
In spite of this some problems remains. I've created all menus (frontpage and subpages), modules, categories and articles in both languages (italian and english), but the menu doesn't seem to change, and the site always shows the quickstart version menus.

Forgive my bad english.

If you would help I'll send you via PM user and psw to access the admin.

Thank you,
Best regards,
chris

Hi,
I solved all problems installing Falang!
A last issue remains: I can't enable URL SEF, and I really don't understand why?

Have you got any idea about it?
Best regards,
chris

The mod_rewrite is enabled on your site ? Your server support this extension ?

Hi bkrztuk,
thank you for the suggestion.
I had to follow the wiki
https://www.gavick.com/documentation/jo ... nstalling/
and to change some parameters in my server host.

Now everything works!
Thanks and best regards,
chris

Please go to global Joomla! configuration and disable url rewrite, more about global options related with SEF you can find here http://moz.com/blog/seo-your-joomla-website-in-11-super-easy-steps but firstly please disable all.
