I'm not sure if this is a stupid question, I can't seem to find the email address once it has been submitted?

If it doesn't go anywhere, how do I configure it so it does?

Nope that didn't work and in my template manager, there was no where to change your first screenshot?

I want to know where the email goes when it is submitted as I'm cannot receive it or not sure where it is going?

Sorry, Let's start from beginning because I probably didn't understand your question, are you asking about Joomla Contact Component or what? Please add a screenshot.

Here, please see on the Homepage of Simplicity - I have attached a screenshot and cannot understand where the email address is going once it is sent/submitted? How do I get hold of the email addresses?

Oh, this one,
nowhere - this is "empty" field only for demonstration purposes, sorry.
This code is placement into custom html module.

:idea: You have to use module from newsletter component.

Check our demo source code, you will know, that it does nothing... just nothing!:
Code: Select all
<form class="gk-form">
<div><input type="email" placeholder="Email address ..."> <input type="submit" value="Get Started today!"></div>
</form>

I suggested few persons to use: Acymailing Starter or jNews free components there will came with modules - instead "demo form".

Yes, you're right I was wrong, there is only "Webmaster e-mail or URL" in this template.
but it does not change anything, if you want to use newsletter module you have install it.
