Good morning,

I am hoping someone can help me please...?

I am using the Simplicity template but also the Image Show GK4 module in the header position, but when the Image Show GK4 module is live its gives me lots of additional padding (Black space).

The header is fine on its own, its only when I use the Image Show GK4. I ideally want the slideshow to appear directly over the the top over the header picture. Please visit www.mnwdesigns.co.uk to see what I mean.

Any help would be very much appreciated - Thank you!

Please add this code to override.css and make sure override is enabled in template settings.

Code: Select all
#gkHeaderMod .customcentered {
display: none;
}

.imageBg #gkHeader {
    background: url("../images/header.jpg") no-repeat fixed center 0 #ffffff;
}

I have the same problem with Joomla. Look at http://marleen.sitecase.nl/ en when you scroll down and up again, the picture is not as it should be.

I hope to hear from you.

Hi

I believe with both this elements in background there could be some problems. But when I looked at Your site before it wasn't as on Your screen. I saw it as on MarleerOK.png from start. Maybe it's browser related. Can You tell me what browser is the wrong image taken in ? It's too small to guess.

I tried Chrome and IE, both latest versions. But since i decided that i will not use the videobackground(it's too much) my problem is solved for now.

Thanks for now.

i am still a novice and fail to understand of how do you get that image on the header background? do you have have to use any other module or is it integrated into the website directly?

Hi

Image is simply attached with a css code. There is no extra extension used or anything else. The only work needed to attache this image is to replace the image located in template's /images/header.jpg and to add a page class suffix "imageBg" to the page You wish this image to be visible. Here is an example of how to use page class suffix: https://www.gavick.com/documentation/un ... omla-pages
