Is there a way to have a white background for the main menu on the home page? In other words, I'd like the menu to appear as it does (white background) on pages without the image background.

Ok, that's a start. Let me tell you where I'm trying to get to. I'd like my site to generally resemble the front page of yours (www.gavick.com), where there's a white menu bar, with an image that spans horizontally with overlaid text. Possible or is there a better template I could try?

Hi

Fully possible. I think next ot the page class suffix You just need to publish a module in header module position so the background will have a place to be shown. If You will have problems with that please send me an access to joomla panel and tell me which page shoudl I make this for.

Hi

To add an image background under the heared in Meet Gavern You need to use this code:

Code: Select all
#gk-header {
    background: url("../images/logo.png") repeat scroll 0 0 #F5F5F5;
}

If You meant a different part of the site to have a background just please let me know which one.

Hi

Yes of course. Here is a screen with a place in template configuration where You can find a suffix which needs to be deleted.
