css animation affects top background image

Hi support
I was trying to add a fadeout button "scroll down to see more" using the animate.css. The css works but conflicts with the template as when you scroll back up the background image does not spring back into its original position.

I just checked and this seems to affect only the safari browser on mac desktop. Any suggestion appreciated.
