recent error being displayed

I installed GK Weather Module and all was working smoothly with my location Croydon, Victoria, Australia until today when the following message appeared:

An error occured - you set wrong location or data for your location are unavailable

I tried changing the location to a few different options however the above error message did not disappear.

A Google search shows a number of other websites with the same message being displayed.

I have currently disabled the module. Does anyone know the reason for this error or a fix?
