Hi!
I would like to configure a single K2 item display on my homepage (kawowo.com) just the way it is in the demo. However, i would like to avoid having to set the readmore point in every item created. (Several journalists contribute and one or more of them are bound to forget to add the readmore.

Could someone please advise how i can best approach this. I created a K2 categories menu as homepage.

Thanks and regards

There are 2 ways to achieve that.
First has to do with k2 settings.
Dont put pagebreak in to your articles, change the setting of the introtext to show, set intro text word limit.
Second way is by using NSP module. You can set it to show just 1 k2 item and also set a word limit. There you can define if you want the Read more to be added automaticaly or not to show at all

Hi!
Thanks for your insights. I already have introtext set to show in K2 and a word limit set.
I would like for the home menu to pick the latest article and show the image with the intro text. That is not happening at the moment. (Full article appears).

I have NSP but at the bottom, I would like to maintain NSP at the bottom but still have the latest article appear at the top but not in full.

Thanks

You can add a new nsp module in the same page without messing with the existing on the bottom.
Just publish it on mainbody position and chose to display 1 article with Standard mode. On article layout settings:
Article Pagination
pages: 1
columns: 1
rows: 1
pagination: none

On Article Layout arrange
Header: 1
Image: 2
Text: 3
Info: 4

and enable Read More button. If you find it hard just let me know

You' ve made it, just put some intro text and the Read More button and you will be set to go.
Also from your bottom nsp i suggest you to change the pagination to "Arrows" because the dot pagination is not working very well, i had the same problem.
