Item selector missing when setting K2 category as menu item

Hello,

I'm not sure if I'm over tired or if I have missed something. Love magazine template!

I'm setting menus referencing to K2 'items' and 'K2 categories'.

1. When I choose a menu item to link to a K2 item, the 'selector box' appears, and I can select the matching K2 item. Woo Hoo.
2. When I choose a menu item to link to a K2 category, the 'selector box' disappears, and I cannot select the matching K2 category.

Is this a Joomla 3+ bug, a template feature or have I meesed it all up again.

Our templates doesn't change anything in the backend. Please ask this question on k2 forum.
