Cannot delete main menu items from quickstart

Hi there!

I installed the Joomla 3x "Magazine" template with the quick start option. I cannot delete the main menu items!!! Why?

So I installed Joomla 3x separately, then installed the theme, plugins, enabled the plugins, installed the modules, but now my template options don't look right: they are written with underscores! Why?

I have searched high and low, no answers. I submitted a ticket and was told I'm not a developer so no one can help me. This is bullcrap.

Hi!

I'm already beyond frustrated with this theme and have deleted it. I've been using Joomla for years and never had so much trouble.

Oh, I'm sorry I wasn't fast enough with answer, perhaps I could save You a lot of trouble.
Either case, the quickstart should work fine, without any troubles at all, at least if your hosting server meets Joomla requirements. Trying to reproduce quickstart look on clean Joomla with only template and plugins - is quite a big job, and we dont suggest that approach to users who deal with our templates for the first time, and their installation is clean (they dont install template over existing data).
