Is it possible to place 'who is on line' module and 'popular stories' module in inset BEFORE the chosen main menu?

HI, You need to insert module here? /see picture below/

If yes, unfortunately, but you have to edit few the template source files.

This should help you: https://www.gavick.com/documentation/jo ... -position/

Well yes perhaps I do want it there but also now I think about it what if -
I actually want to put a module "whos on line" and another "featured articles" IN INSET
just order them at the top before the menu. rather than create a new module position use existing INSET.
I like the way inset is neatly inline with the layout. I like the layout design it is just I have to have a full page story for front page so I wont be using the side bar for the front page and I need to put whose on line and latest sories list - (both modules) somewhere. I cant put them in the sidebar and I want them as first things you see. see websites dev.polomagazines.com and polomagazines.com and you will see what I m trying to do

Hi, It is a pity that you did not give here mockup - it would be more helpful.

My suggestion is to use top menu (use banner top position). I've helped one person sometime ago to change a little code.
And add modules in left column - if you want use inset position.

Thank you for your help it is appreciated. I apologise for not giving you a mock up but I dont know how. Also I apologise for not being clear. I dont want to create a new module position made in the template.

I just want the menu that is automatically positioned in inset with this template to be second.
I am happy to use inset as you suggest yes. BUT...
it wont let me put anything else ahead of the menu.
What if I dont want the menu but rather list latest articles and who is on line. It wont let me put anything in the inset ahead of a menu which I dont want first.
