Hi ,
I am currently using Joomla! version, 2.5.9.
Installed "Magazine" Template for my domain and also the "Quick Start" guide.

"Magazine" Template is reflected in the template manager of the CMS , but I am unable to find the "Quick Start Guide" . I tried to re-install it and the installation shows as " successful ".
But in vain.

Please help.

Regards,
Klsingh.

Probably you don't know what is the difference between quickstart and template, quickstart packaga is not visible in template manager because this contains Joomla!, template and all other stuff. Please look at this article and if you still have questions please let me know https://www.gavick.com/documentation/general-questions/what-is-a-quickstart-package/

I already have Joomla 2.5.9 installed and a dummy website (www.binarycse.com) with some contents is live.

I just need to customize the template provided by you according to your Demo.

I don't need Joomla , the database and other factors are already configured for the my site ( www.binarycse.com).

Just help is needed on the customization of the TEMPLATE purchased only.

Could you give me more details what you need to customize ? Because all template file you can find in root/templates/gk_magazine so all changes you need to make there. Layouts are in /layouts directory and CSS files you can find in /css folder.

Thanks for the reply , I understood your point here.
Actually I was looking for short-cut in order to customize the template according to your Demo Site through Joomla CMS-->Template Manager-->gk_magazine--> option edit.

I was trying to avoid PHP coding part.

Is there any work-around to customize the template like Demo Site using Joomla CMS and avoiding coding of PHP.

I'm in the same boat. New to Joomla, but really enjoyed the Magazine demo so i purchased. It would be great to know how to use the quickstart zip to install joomla3, and the demo version, at a typical hosting provider. I've installed joomla at my host, and installed the Magazine template successfully. However, I really don't have the time available to form it up like the demo, so my only option is to install the quickstart and then remove or configure as needed. I'm sure I sound like the ultimate noob, and i am, but any direction would be greatly appreciated.
