Website 70.000 posts and PHP 5.4.24

Dear Sir,

I have Gavick News Wordpress Template working on website with 70.000 posts (database 300MB), webserver PLESK , php 5.3.3 and mysql 5.1.73

I moved website on new web server with CPANEL, PHP 5.4.24 and mysql 5.5.35 but webserver go in overload.

It seem your template is compatible with PHP 5.4.24 but template is not able to manage 70.000 posts.

Please could you check it ?

Hello,

Most probably your new webserver is not ready to manage so big website. Template is only responsible for the visual part of the website - if you have such a big website then it needs efficient webserver. Additionally as I understand on the previous machine the website was working fine.

Hello,

new webserver is Intel Xeon E3-1240v2 @ 3.40GHz 4C 8T with RAM 32 GB and 2 x 2000GB SATA III..

On new server the blog works fine with other template but when I change to Gavick News Wordpress Template the webserver goes in overload.

What can I do ?

Few questions:

- on the previous machine it was working fine?
- did you set the cache in the widgets which are displaying posts?
- are you using some 3rd party extensions?

yes, it works fine with php 5.3.3 and mysql 5.1.73 on PLESK web server

yes I do

all pluigins are disabled

On new server CPANEL PHP 5.4.24 and mysql 5.5.35 I setup a new template and it works fine.
it seems your template has some bugs to manage database with 70.000 posts and PHP 5.4.24.

It is a very strange case - could you send me an FTP and back-end access to your website - it is an only way to find a solution for your problem.

I can't activate the template and give you the login because webserver go in overload.
