Hi.
My site is not responsive. There is no parameter to specify responsive in the template settings.

If you don't see such a option in templte configuration it means :
This template is too "old" (2011) to have support for RWD.
Even it have versions for J3.x, sorry.

There is nowhere information that exactly this template have RWD feature.

You have few solutions:

1) Use different template for mobile/tablet devices
2) or try to modify by you own. It'll takes you long hours.
3) Use different template from new (RWD) collection to build similar website.

How do I use different template for mobile/tablet devices. I think that is the quickest solution I can use for now. Will probably migrate to another template with (RWD) in the future. But I need a quick solution for now.

Any tips for option 1 please?

In most cases you don't need tablet version of template, most people uses 7" or 8" or 10"

but smartphones - hmm... check those solutions: http://extensions.joomla.org/extensions ... le-display

and you can use Meetgavern framework/template to build your own mobile template or use those from "mobile" extension(s).
