Custom module in menu issues...

Hello,

I am needing some help with an issue that is about to drive me crazy. Basically, when I add a custom module as dropdown content for a menu item, the menu item disappears. Any idea on this? I've tried just about everything I know.

Thanks for your help!

Hi

Please show me Your page where this module should be visible and send an access to joomla panel.

Thanks I will get it to you today. I develop on a local server, so I need a bit of time to migrate this over to our web server.

Thanks!

Hi

I've looked into this and to make it show module it has to be made a little bit more complex.

1. Menu element
2. Submenu element as a title for the module set as a 1column group
3. Subsubmenu element showing a module

anyway I cannot see any module published in position menu10 so please try to attach some to it and than the module should be visible.

Ok, awesome. Got it. Thank you so much for the help. I am wanting to style these custom dropdowns with overrides, and I have the positioning css style code figure out, but I am needing to control the width of these dropdowns as well. What is the best way to do that?

Hi

I think the bast way is to add an new class in menu item parameters so You will be able to overwrite the default width in css with "!important" rule at the end of the line with new width.
