mod_image_show_gk4 issue

when I turn off the option "Show text block" my image slider does not animate anymore.
and the text from the side transform into link to the article instead of changing the image.
How can I fix it?

I had the same problem. All i did to solve it (until something solid comes along), was to turn it back on and set the Text block X(and Y)coordinates to -1500. That way the animation still plays but the text box is not visible... hope this helps.
