Hi
In my site http://www.preparado.pt, both the login as the register are the same as the quick file.
The login module is autenticantion and the register module is gk_register.

The problem is if a register regist at my site with the gk_register, if i go the K2 users with remais alwayus without group assigned, even if in k2 parameters the default k2 user group is assigned.

I have to manually go and assign the group. I need this because only registered users can comment k2 itens, and they are not registered as long no group is assigned.

K2 as a 3rd party extensions is beyond our support, just please check your previous topic. Please contact with K2 support for problems related with K2 and not depends of our template.

It's so easy to say that if it is a problem relatad with K2 go talk to them!!

Didn't explain myself right?

If i use your's gk_register as a module to register users, these are not automaticle assign to the group thats defined in K2 parameters.

If i disabled your module and use the k2 module instead, its fine. The users are associated with the right group!

Of course its a problem with your module, not with K2.

Do not assume right way that if were talking about 3rd party extension that the problem its always their...

Thanks

You need to know that default register module is designed for Joomla registration not K2 one. If you want to use K2 register you can't use pop-up module. There is no bug in module - it is not designed to work with K2 settings. For K2 registration there is K2 registration page and you should use this way of registering users. Hope now everything is clear for you.
