K2 using real name instead of username

Hi all,

I've published the K2 User Module to the login position (instead of gk register module) and selected the username to display rather than the real name but only the real name will display in the module when it pops up in lightbox.

I'd also like to use the username rather than the real name in comments and on the k2 user page but again, only the real name is shown.

I've been looking at the com_k2 files in the Game Magazine template directory and do I have to change instances of "name" to "username"?

I just wanted to be sure this is the only way to do it and that I'm not overlooking some simple setting in the backend.

I don't think we have an option to change it. Have you tried changing the code yet and does it work?
