Black Site from QuickStart Fresh Install

I installed to blank database using quickstart files.

The server is one that I have used before with joomla, I simply removed the existing joomla files.

After running the install the Admin side to the site comes up without any errors and works fine, but the frontend portion of the site comes up "white screen" of death. No errors but also no content.

Any suggestions?


notes: I tried simple things like 777 all the files since it is a fresh install and making sure apache owned all the files... still nothing.

Sorry "Blank" site... not "black" site.
