Missing nav.php during upgrade from 1.7 to 2.5

Hi all,

I recently upgraded my joomla 1.7 site to 2.5 including all the extensions which were mostly gavick anyway because I originally installed the quickstart package for Game Magazine. The last step is to update the template from my 1.7 to 2.5.

I downloaded the 2.5 Game Magazine template and am following these update instructions for performing the update: https://www.gavick.com/updates/template ... e,635.html

I'm supposed to overwrite these files:

../admin/elements/moduleoverride.php
../admin/script.js
../css/joomla.css
../css/menu.gkmenu.css
../css/k2.css
../css/layout.css
../html/com_content/article/default.php
../layouts/blocks/nav.php
../templateDetails.xml
- language file

In both the 1.7 and 2.5 templates there is no nav.php. Should I assume this is simply a mistake in these instructions and ignore that?

Yes, I confirm that it's our mistake in the guide, there's not the file in the template package so you don't need to worry about that any more. I also will ask our team to update to correct the guide soon.

I've overwritten all the above mentioned files and noticed that I'm still getting the text:

JDocumentHTML
JDocumentHTML

just under the Basic Settings area of the template manager. I'm not sure if this is a big deal or if I have to replace more files than are in the list. I saw a few posts mentioning this but didn't see a solution.

Any luck with what's causing that text to come up? It happened after the upgrade but so far doesn't seem to be affecting anything.

Not yet, I have asked you to provide access to diagnose the problem but haven't seen any message from you so I can't check any so far.
