Where are the directives?

Hi,

I'm a customer for more than 2 years.
I haven't been using the template for more than half a year.
I want to change my template to Game Magazine with Joomla 2.5

There used to be a directive PDF to tell us how to install things,
how to have it look the same as on the demo, a explanation
of the different position for the module,
NOW, i can't see this PDF file or explanation, and I tried to
download all the available file. Please tell me in which file
of with package I can find the right explanation.

This is URGENT, when I scheduled my work I did not think
this template would have become difficult to use and that
the explanation PDF wouldn't be where is used to.

I'm really sort of disappointed. Expensive but easy to use
and understand, that WAS my opinion about Gavick.

Regards,
Louis

Well I could figure out how to set up the toppage sliders, cause I used to use your template before,
but concerning the module placeholder, I really have a problem. There is a lot of placeholder and without a place holder map, I'm lost, it takes very long to place module and make me feel kinda angry.

If you could deliver me the module placeholder map it would be very nice to start with.

Louis

It's very simple, just enable template preview mode http://easycaptures.com/fs/uploaded/443/7542767331.jpg

then add "?tp=1" after your site URL and it will show all available module positions in the template, for example: http://MYSITE.com/?tp=1

Hi,

Thanks for this explanation, I really couldn't find it on my own.

Well, it does display the position, still, for the Game Magazine, I can see on the top right corner
a placeholder for login and search, which is designed as "search[none outline]". In the module placeholder
position selection windows, there is no "Search" position available? What should I do ?

I really mean that without directives Gavick template just don't even worth 1/5 they did.

I already lost like 1 week on this template, ... :(

Louis

"You should have read" -> "You might get some advices reading ..."

Well, there used to be a time when Gavick Template were documented, so that it was easy to get all the things work as advertised. Now, there is not even a single PDF file to explain how to place modules, how to set up all the thing, only a "one-fit-all" un-dedicated pseudo-explanation wiki-like.

I'm not asking you how to ADD a module position, I'm telling you that there is no explanation on how to get the search bar to appear on a template I PAID for. Why did I have to loose my whole day figure out that the search placeholder was not correctly set in the template so that it doesn't appear in the placeholder list.

Maybe Gavick got all the money from us and now is TOO LAZY to produce what it promised.

A VERY DISAPPOINTED CLIENT.

Louis

Hi,

What you need to do is just to create a search module then assign it position Search and it will be supposed to appear at right top of the site. In case you did the same but it doesn't show the box, just PM me with your backend access then I will try for you. Sorry for any inconveniences!

Thanks,
