Slide show is not showing in tab 1

I downloaded and installed the demo version and a new template on my joomla.
Looking the demo the slide show is on tab 1 position, I try to do the same on my site and the slide show is not showing, if I change the position to "header" it works fine, but why is not working on the tab1 position?

Please let me know.
