user registration

Hello,
In the user login panel of the News template, there is no link to the user registration, just the links to recover the password or the username. How can I also display a link to the registration page, wich is very usefull in this context?
My Joomla version: 3.2.3

Good question. I have the same problem. I have looked everywhere and can't figure out why it won't display in a sidebar module either.

Is there no user registration link in this template? I've run across references in the forum for similar issues in some other templates. I need the link? What can be done?
