Uninstall K2 and 1146 Oops, you've encountered an error

Hello,

I installed the gk_news_quickstart_J!3.zip. After that, I uninstall the K2 component and suddenly the site went

1146 Oops, you've encountered an error.

I have read that may be related to the mod_news_pro_gk4, so I edited all the modules and change the Data Source to Joomla! categories but didnt fix the problem.

Any guideance is welcome.

Please disable ALL News Show Pro modules because probably one of this modules is still trying to show content from K2 which right now not exist.

Hello,

I disabled (thank for the advise) all News Show Pro modules and found that the problem was with one that had the data source to one Joomla! category without items.

Yes, the empty data source may cause the same problem but in latest News Show Pro version you shouldn't have this problem.
