Hi
I have installed SH404SEF and my site home page went funny.
If I set Rewriting mode to with .htaccess(mod_rewrite ) >>>> the home page disapear only single article appear.
But if I set Rewriting mode to without .htaccess(index.php ) >>>>> the home page show properly and each article display on the browser http://www.togo-online.co.uk/index.php/ ... on-1e.html
Any suggestion would be much appreciated

Thank you in advance

Please look at other topics related with SH404SEF component, the issue is common because extension don't detect active menu properly.

Please contact with SH404SEF support because we don't support 3rd party extensions. Most cases were related with problem with extension.

After searching this forum for sh404sef solutions with GK module, I have noticed a possible solution is to disable System plugin cache and enable plugin GK Cache.
But in my Plug-in Manager: Plug-ins, there is no System - GK Cache.
Where can I download this GK Cahe plugin
Here is my Plug-in Manager: Plug-ins cache: http://quick-markup.com/image/525cf0a25229f
Any help would be much appreciated.

All plugins you will find in rest_files package which is available at template download page. Proper cache configuration you can find here http://www.gavick.com/documentation/joomla-extensions/extensions-for-joomla-1-6/gk-cahce-plugin/

Hi bkrztuk,

Thank you for your reply.
i have now downloaded plg_gkcache and plg_gavickExtCache.
After installation, I got this error message see link http://quick-markup.com/image/525eae317dc10.
And in the Plug-in Manager, there is no trace of gkcache see link: http://quick-markup.com/image/525eae8e02316

Any suggestions?

Did you install both GK Cache and GK Ext Cache plugins? It looks like they are already installed which is possible if you use quickstart package.

I did not installed quickstart package but I used gk_news_J!3.zip instead.
When I noticed in my Plug-in Manager: Plug-ins that I don't both GK Cache and GK Ext Cache in the list I tried to installed them manually by downloading gk_news_rest_files_J!3.zip and extracted them from there.

For some reasons they don't show up in Plug-in Manager list

I can't find the GK cache plugins on this list but you said that you've installed the plugins from rest_files package. Please provide me access details via PM and remember to include link to this forum topic.
