Hello!
I write an article and set it to automatically publish at a certain date and time. Also set the “Publish” status to “Yes” and Set start and end publishing dates. But it still publish my article even I set start publish date has not arrived yet. But when I click on that article, it displays "404-Error: 404" or Message:
"404Oops, you've encountered an error
It appears the page you were looking for doesn't exist. Sorry about that.

Hi,
this is not template or Joomla issue but problem with time settings in your server.

Check time/date on your server , then in Joomla Global configuration --> Location Settings --> Server Time Zone

p.s.
Publishing articles with delay should apply in the case of news, because if you add "delayed" article in menu item before it will be published you would get a error.

Sometimes I used one trick to fix it, I added article with CUSTOM HTML module inside, then if somebody click on this article before time ABC he saw empty page (without error!) of course module has option to publish its content on chosen date. So at time or after people could see content from module. That's all.

I suggest to read more about Joomla next time, this option was also in J2.5.

to check server time add new article and check creation date,
then you will know how many hours you have + or - in Global configuration --> Location Settings --> Server Time.

I have no more ideas how to fix it.
