Removing copyright, Template design etc

I installed gk news (joomla 3.x) version. I'm trying to edit the the copyright information and I'm having issues.

I have edited out the line:

<p id="gkCopyrights">Template Design &copy; <a href="//www.gavick.com" title="Joomla Templates">Joomla Templates</a> GavickPro. All rights reserved.</p>

In /templates/gk_news/layouts/blocks/footer.php but the new edits do not appear. It is still the same: Template Design © Joomla Templates GavickPro. All rights reserved that appears.

What am I missing here?

Are you making changes in template settings > Features > Copyright section. Check and let me know.

Oh my goodness. Thank you so much Norman. For some reason I spent a long time trying to edit that through the file manager. I somehow didn't realize (actually I looked in that area but somehow I didn't see it.) that I could make those changes under Options Edit Template settings. Your comment made me go and look.
