Hello,

we use this great "news" template.
And for a menu, we want to use the "K2 Tag" menu (and we have a lot of tags in the backend "k2 tags").

And we can't select any tag... (see our creenshot)

Everything is working fine in the demo, but not here. We don't know why...

If you can help us, it would be great.

Thank in advance.
Regards

For info, we use the lastest version of this template with Joomla 3.1.1 and K2 version 2.6.6

Hi

This element is a part of joomla and not connected with template. I've seen such problem before, where there were too many tags so database could not complete listing them before the time set for database connection runs out. Please try extend this time and send ma an access to joomla panel so I'll check if what problem can it be.

Hello,

thank for your answer (and for the explanation). I just PM you with the access code.
We have 439 tags (in the demo there are 319 tags).

And I really don't know how to extend the time for database connection (our website run on a shared hosting (OVH)).

Thank in advance for any help.
Regards.

Hi

I'm looking at it right now and I must say it's not the database problem. The problem I was talking about appeared when my client was using 12.000 tags :)

I'm thinking there may be a problem because of a special characters. But it will be better if You ask K2 developers about this issue. It's strictly connected with K2 component.
