I do not see RSS working at all. It got # sign instead of an address. Have You configured RSS link in template settings.

Hi

Looks like this link has changed, so it's a progress, but You need to set some extenton to generate such rss first. K2 category would be the fastest way in Your case I think.

Morning Teitbite,

I created a heading/category called 'RN24 News Feed' Very bottom left on http://ringnews24.com by doing so it created a rss feed which I added all the categorys to. So the Rss problem is sorted thanks to you. Cheers m8

Another question I have is how do you limited what is shown in the various rss feeds on Ringnews24, ie text limit etc..

Hi

I think it depends what You use to generate RSS and from settings provided. I like Ninja RSS component which got a lot of options for showing RSS.

Hi

So that's the problem :) Our templates do not have RSS other than the one provided by joomla or K2 (whatever You would like to use). The best way to have an rss link is to enable rss in article category than You should see an icon of rss visible while in category view. Than You need to copy this link to the template configuration.

The rss was K2, I never knew until your post were to look.

I managed to change the description limit.

Solution: Components-K2-Parameters-Content.

Thanks teitbite.
