Do not wish to use K2 - deleted k2 and now getting 404

I do not want to use k2. I prefer to use the Joomla articles, categories, etc.

I thus removed k2 and everything on the site went down.

How do I use the NEWS template WITHOUT k2?

did you install quickstart package ? Probably some items follow to k2 items, cateogries etc. And some NSP GK4 modules have set data source as k2 categories or items. Please check them.

Yes, i did install the quickstart package.

I had removed the k2 components and files before and the entire site disappeared. I've again installed the quickstart and wondering now how do I get the same layout without using K2.

Any help you can provide will be appreciated.

Well you have to add same categories and articles to joomla arts. Then you need to edit all NSP GK4 modules published and change source in 'Data Source' section to joomla articles or categories.
