A Lot of Blank Space/Scrolling

I just installed the quickstart for News using Joomla 2.5

The first time I visited the page, it was like something was broken in the template. I had to scroll about 15x as far as normal to get to the footer section of the page, and all of that space was empty/blank. I clicked refresh and the page loaded up just fine.

Then the person I am building the site for emailed me with the exact same issue, so I know it wasn't just a once off problem. He says he thinks the problem comes up when you don't use www in the url, but that it loads fine with www. I have tried many times to recreate this problem, both with and without www, in every browser I have, but so far I haven't seen the problem again.

Is this a known problem with a known solution? I'm trying to search old posts but so far I'm coming up empty.

Hi

I think what You saw was a browser loading a css files for an installation which were there before. I can see it correctly within my first visit so I believe everything is ok.
