swf object in logo

Hello everybody,

how can i replace the original logo (any .png image) with an .swf object?

I have one swf file at the desired dimensions. I've changed the dimensions of the logo position, i've added the code at logo.php file with the swf object, but at the front end instead of the swf file shows the adobe flash icon with a link to update the flashplayer (although it is updated in the last version).

Unfortunately it isn't a live website...i am still working on it, and i develop it locally. Is there another way to solve this issue?

99% the problem lies in cource code You have pasted. Without seeing it in live environment, can't help much more.
