I will publish my website these days and before google is crawling my site I want to remove
the article id in the URL like here :

I use also other joomla templates and I have this problem only with your template. A quick help to solve this issue is highly welcome.

Hi,
:ugeek: that's very strange in fact, because none of templates generate URLs, Joomla does.
Sporadically, used module can also control of generated links, but not in your example.

 If you need full control of URLs use sh404sef, MijoSEF or other component.

If you want to publish your web page soon - first correct unreadable font.
unreadable font.png

and disable style chooser

on the bottom of page, in template settings.

Hi Pawel,

first, thanks for your quick answer.

On which browser the font is unreadable ? Here in Firefox is all okay. But thanks for the hint.

Regarding article ID : I'm using other joomla templates and these installations are without any components
to control URL. There I do not have this problem . And I don't want to use a component only for this .

So the failure has to be within your template ?

Hi Pawel,

I don't use K2. I've uninstalled it. The links you are talking about from the ZOO Component. I've to open a thread
in their support forum regarding this.

But the most important thing is unanswered : the article ID. How to get rid of this ?

Peter

p.s.
If you need to remove the article id from the URL, simple way is to link the article to any menu item
or
use this method:
    http://developernote.com/2012/05/how-to-remove-id-from-url-in-joomla-2-5/
    http://rushtips.com/remove-id-from-url-in-joomla-2-5
but remember that
It duplicate content: It causes, that every article is reachable by 2 URLS (without id and with ID)
