Template Manager Options (ICON)-> Preview Module Positions [*] Enabled + SAVE
and after webpage domain name add index.php?tp=1 ...and you'll see J!Magic

But there is no : bottom3 and footer position, but there are: bottom2, lang, footer_nav and the last one "debug"

Hello,

thanks for your answer.
In the template demo at the menu Template/Layout you will get this link :

http://www.gavick.com/documentation/joo ... -layout-2/

And there you can see bottom 3 and footer. But now I saw that these are the module positions for Bikestore.
So in the first moment of course you think these are positions of the News template.

But if you take look at Template/Template Articles/Modul positions you will see at least the footer position.

So how to get it ?

Hi, Unfortunately, you're not quite right.
See below:
positions.png

If you don't believe me , uninstall all templates except gk_news. :P

p.s.
More News module - mainbody_bottom
----------below that---------
Sections module - bottom2
Shows module - bottom2
Local News module - bottom2
Tools module - bottom2

Have a nice day!

Please follow this link :

http://demo.gavick.com/joomla25/news/in ... -positions

There you can see that a footer position should be at this template.

Or do I misunderstand something.

Hi, yes on picture there are but in "real life" not, I've checked also in templateDetails.xml, so well this is our small mistake but ....
...footer position is not for module but only for copyright info, check template configuration.

Always use : index.php?tp=1 - to check available module positions! Thanks.

Okay,

that's clear now.
But is it a great effort to add a modul position like bottom 3 ?

Regards
Peter

Hi, is depends where you want to add.
However, it requires two or three editing template files.

Read here: https://www.gavick.com/documentation/jo ... -position/
