Hi,

News template is so good and well optimized. Still there is small optimization is required.

There are nearly 20 small background images/icons are placed in the site template. This in turn increase the HTTP request.
Hope you guys convert all the images into sprites so It will reduce the request to just 1 image.

This will make the site to load fast and also it will help to get the site to rank high.


Do let me know if any one can help on this Or will there be any update.

Hi, thanks for tip, however, sometimes we intentionally leave the individual files separately for novice webmasters can be able to replace the image. Of course, we think about it, to reduce the number of files.

Remember that most of files (images) are from modules & articles not only from template.
